Project Name:

Custom Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System
Customer:
E&E Publishing, Inc. (Washington, DC)

Description

CoSolutions designed and developed this enterprise CRM web application, from the ground up, for E&E Publishing, the leading publisher in the United States of information on environmental and energy policy action. The customer was in need of an end-to-end CRM system for their entire operations but needed one that would address the unique needs of their online subscription-based publication business, their competitive advantage. Nothing on the market fit the bill.

The solution CoSolutions built for the customer included standard CRM functionality, lead and opportunity management and email integration. A unique requirement to the system was customer metrics and usage tracking functionality through various methods including IP address matching to allow E&E to optimize their pricing structure with the added benefit of allowing management and sales reps have information and metrics at their fingertips to make important decisions. In summary, the application has a customer-centric dashboard approach to managing their business. The application continues to be an integral part of E&E’s daily business operations.

Project Name:

Custom Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Ordering System

Customer:
Barnes & Noble, Inc.

Description

Barnes & Noble’s Gift Card Division asked CoSolutions to design and develop an application to allow them to enter and keep track of customer bulk gift card orders. Included in the application functionality is the ability to track, by customer, cumulative sales throughout the life of the contract period. The system also generates and prints invoices for new orders based on a sliding discount scale. Full management reporting on various metrics of interest to the Division was also incorporated into the system.

Project Name:

Urban Truck Traffic Analyzer
Customer: Jack Faucett & Associates, Inc. (Washington, DC)
for Department of Transportation

Description

The Urban Truck Traffic Analyzer software simulation tool designed and developed by CoSolutions helps transportation planners develop urban truck trip tables associated with both freight and non-freight movements. The application distinguishes between four different types of truck movements and the user is able to specify which ones will be included in each model run. The four types of movements are freight movements, non-goods related truck trips, transportation of hazardous waste, and through-traffic truck trips. Development of the application was conducted through a $600,000 SBIR contract with the Federal Highway Administration which was granted to Jack Faucett & Associates.

Jack Faucett & Associates is a Washington, DC-based consulting firm that has been a pioneer in the field of economic research and public policy analysis.

Project Name:

Parking Administration System

Customer:

The Library of Congress (Washington, DC)

Description

CoSolutions designed and developed an application for the Library of Congress that maintains, monitors and tracks parking permit data for all employees authorized to use the Library’s many parking structures. This is serious business for the Library as parking spaces are limited and demand greatly outweighs supply. To fairly allocate these coveted parking spaces, the Library performs a semi-annual assessment for the spaces. The application that CoSolutions developed is used by the Library security detail and the administrators of the Parking Program to maintain and validate the user data.
