Description
The Urban Truck Traffic Analyzer software simulation tool
designed and developed by CoSolutions helps transportation
planners develop urban truck trip tables associated with both
freight and non-freight movements. The application distinguishes
between four different types of truck movements and the user
is able to specify which ones will be included in each model
run. The four types of movements are freight movements, non-goods
related truck trips, transportation of hazardous waste, and
through-traffic truck trips. Development of the application
was conducted through a $600,000 SBIR contract with the Federal
Highway Administration which was granted to Jack Faucett &
Associates.
