Description

Responsible for designing and developing web-based applications to support workflow, data collection, and reporting applications including user-interface design. Developer will work with requirements analysts, business analysts, database designers, and software developer team members to support Microsoft .NET web-based applications.

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate for a Senior Software Developer role in the organization should possess the following experience:

• Provide full life-cycle software development
• Gather requirements; work independently or with development team to understand the customer's functional business needs and requirements
• Using an agile and iterative methodology in a collaborative environment:
• Design high quality software solutions
• Skillfully leverage software patterns
• Implement code and unit tests with developers teammates
• Participate in peer review and QA testing
• Release to the live environment
• Maintain application
• Serve as Advisor, Mentor and Technical Lead to development team
• Serve as ongoing Subject Matter Expert and "Trusted Advisor" to customer in order to foster and cement key customer relationships
• Interact and interface with both executive management personnel and internal technical teammates
• Perform other development or technical duties as assigned or required

Education and/or Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or 10+ years professional software development experience or in a computer related field
• Fluent in ASP .NET, C# and SQL Server database development through demonstrated work experience
• Strong web application development skills
• Thorough knowledge of full software development lifecycle and formal software development processes and methodologies
• Proven track record of interacting with executive and senior level management
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills required
• Ability to maintain and develop key customer relationships
• Proven problem solving abilities
